This summer, we have two mission teams traveling to Honduras with one goal: to bring hope, homes, and clean water to families in need. Each team will build a home for a family and provide water filters to the community, giving many people access to safe drinking water every day.
Providing a houseâincluding electrical work, appliances, furnishings, and groceriesâfor one family costs $12,950, and our goal is to raise $25,900 to bless two families with a fresh start and a safe place to call home.
But in addition to donationsâwe need prayers. Please lift up the 40 team members as they prepare for this journey, fundraise, and step into a mission that will change livesâfor the families they serve and for themselves.

Kairos is one of our valued local mission partners, dedicated to building a Christian community within prisons and reaching both men and women with the hope and love of Christ. A key part of this ministry is the Kairos Inside Weekendâa 3½-day retreat that brings together both positive and negative leaders within the prison. Led by same-gender Kairos volunteers, the retreat includes a series of talks, small group discussions, chapel meditations, and opportunities to form lasting Christian community. For many participants, the Kairos Weekend proves to be life-changing, often sparking a desire to follow Christ or deepening their existing spiritual journey.
From April 30-May 3, several members of our Cornerstone family will serve with Kairos at the Michael Unit, a maximum-security prison in East Texas. They will minister to 42 inmates, and there are several ways you can support this mission:

- Pray for the team and the inmates
- Sign Prayer Chain links to cover the Weekend in prayer
- Encourage our children to decorate placemats for the inmates
- Volunteer to bake cookies (return by April 26)
- Donate Meal Tickets: $5 each or $30 for a full table
- Sponsor an Inmate: $300 covers one inmateâs full Kairos experience
